Workshops & Residencies:
Storeography workshops and residencies bring movement to the curriculum and set the curriculum in motion. Students and teachers will enjoy brainstorming action words or writing stories about any element of the curriculum they choose. The students will learn the fundamentals of modern dance and at the same time will create mini opuses around the research they have done. Not only will students be able to review and express their knowledge of the curriculum in a physical way, but they will be experiencing the creative process of translating their own words and thoughts into art. It’s a great way to begin to understand how to make and to appreciate dance and art in general.
