Ananda Wilson: Ananda showed a passion for dance and performance at an early age, practicing moves and tumbling in the kitchen until she drove her mother nuts. Dance and gymnastics occupied Ananda until age 13,when she focussed in on dance. At 16, she moved to Connecticut and danced with the Hartford Camerata Conservatory, moving quickly forward into their college dance program. Ananda was most passionate about the dynamic classes with ex-Momix dancer Kelly Holcombe, who inspired, challenged, and spurred in her an even greater love of dance. She continued training with Ms. Holcombe and was tapped to join Kelly's multimedia dance company, Bludance Theatre. She served as a core dancer and then soloist. Currently Ananda is most thrilled to be dancing with Adam Battelstein and Friends, noteably performing in Storeography, The Planetarium Club, as well as works in progress scheduled to be taken out of state. |
Emily and Matt Kent: Emily and Matt Kent have had extraordinary careers working with Pilobolus, dancing their way around the world, and performing on television and dancing live for thousands of young people. They have made their own childrens’ shows and are founding members of the Pickleshoes perfomance group. |
